About me
I have had the opportunity to design projects for children in various settings, ranging from museum exhibitions at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery to working with teachers at Seven Arrows Elementary in Pacific Palisades. At Seven Arrows Elementary, I collaborated with teachers to create projects that aligned with their class curriculum, ensuring that the activities were both educational and engaging for the students. I embraced the challenge of coming up with innovative and unique ideas that would captivate the children's imagination and promote their learning. It was a rewarding experience to witness the enthusiasm and excitement that these projects generated among the students.
I have a special talent for soothing and calming younger children during nap time through the art of storytelling. Although I may not have extensive experience working with disabled children, I have successfully managed and connected with troubled and angry children, children with special needs including those on the autism spectrum in my previous classes. I understand the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
Yoga and meditation have proven to be effective methods in calming troubled children and providing them with a sense of stability. These practices help to create a peaceful and open mindset, allowing these children to let go of their burdens and find relaxation. The soothing nature of these practices allows them to create a more spacious mental environment, free from stress and tension. Overall, yoga and meditation offer a therapeutic outlet for mentally troubled children, enabling them to find peace and tranquility within themselves.
